Ratings agency Moody’s said earlier this month that, although it had “seen the first signs of broad-based improvements in operational and financial performance” over the past 18 months, the company still needs to maintain large cash and liquidity buffers to meet the potential costs of servicing its engines under long-term service agreements with clients. Rolls-Royce valued current contract liabilities at £8bn as of 30 June, and its total liabilities were still £5bn higher than its total assets. Until some of this load is shed, any further material gains in altitude for the company’s share price look unlikely.

Interesting post there SKY - thanks.

I was wondering when RR may restart dividends and that report believes Investment Grade may be achieved along with dividends in 2024.

Perhaps my move into RR may see not only share price growth but dividend income as well - although perhaps not at the 10% yields from the likes of PHNX and LGEN and also BATS and DGE.

As the external ramping expires, as said days ago , it's now down to RR alone

News soon followed, of deals and rebuilding Ukraine 😂

Market uses the RR news to complete distribution , as share price fails to rise in news

"The Gerbils all sucked in "

All that expectation and hype results must now live up to. No....outperform such is share price price being still very high at 200

The CEO literally has to claim and show contracts for the global aviation and SMR market ...plus

Margins of at least 17% increase on previous

Datait, shares always retrace after often 'testing' new highs, else it would not have been a high. Its inevitable unless shares simple went higher and higher. I agree that there has been a very fast increase in value here and at some point it has to take a pause, but I think it is now only just on par with pre covid values which were in decline at the time. RR. is in a very different position now. There is a chance that RR. is going to have an NXT moment here. It is ahead in several major key technologies. If they work out, it is hard to see why these shares won't be in double digit figures. The recent rise has been kinda weird as there has been no new news really other than Tufan saying that the Gov. need to be careful in how they hand out SMR contracts. The chip fat flight with Virgin was probably a much bigger event long term than people realise as taxes will rise globally on flights that are not green and be discounted for those that are ... easy pickings for the Green Lobby.

I would sell based on story not on share price.

...

So why do you mention 600p, 800p etc?"

I always answer questions

those are prices that look feasible along the way based on discounted cash flows using the cash flows given to us by RR and other brokers including Goldman.

Re buffet never sells FFS

Anyway, he did all the selling this year due to risks, and in some cases , explained why he sold some at x price

So if you lot want to be

"All Buffet"
Then fkn act like him

What's your exit plan here? We know the reward plan

Give us the risk plan pricing

Even Berkshire know, share price starts falling due to funds rental change. It's not rocket science.

I do not let the share price tell me what to do.
